Montara Pro by xMEMS is a MEMS speaker which uses DynamicVent which is a patented technology. The technology allows earbud designers to have the best of both worlds when it comes to open and closed earbuds.
The unique speaker design means that Montara Pros have a flat frequency response reaching 115dB SPL below 1khz and up to 18dB gain above 1kHz. These unique speaker configurations also mean that calibration and manufacturing is far more accurate than a traditional dynamic speaker.
The speaker is due to be mass produced in the third quarter of 2022.
