Meta to open first brick and mortar store

Meta has officially announced the Meta Store, a brick and mortar location for consumers to test our their most recent hardware. The announcement seems to be coupled with Meta’s push for its vision of the future of the MetaVerse. Similar to the Apple Store, consumers will be able to test the latest AR/VR technology that comes from Meta which holds no surprise due to the relentless push for the company to establish and build the MetaVerse.

Up until recently, much of the population is still unsure of what the MetaVerse will actually look like and what it will be capable of. As a result, having a physical location where consumers can see for themselves what VR technology is capable of may be the push for adoption that Meta has been hoping for. This year, SAR released the first edition of its Smart Eyewear report (BRIEF: Smart Eyewear – SAR Insight) where AR, VR, MR, and Audio eyewear are discussed in detail.
