Bowers & Wilkins 3D audio Soundbar

Bowers & Wilkins have recently announced the release of a brand new Soundbar, the Panorama 3. For a company that’s primary focus is audio quality over use, the new soundbar comes with all the essential features that you would expect on a basic Soundbar with the Bluetooth codecs aptX Adaptive, and AAC offering Bluetooth quality streaming.

The soundbar also comes with spatial audio. In recently years there has been a strong push for spatial audio in the headphones and headsets world with few Home AV brands focusing on the immersive technology. However, as more movies, albums, and games being released with spatial audio in mind, it makes sense that the use of this tech is growing in home theatre setups. SAR currently estimates that the spatial audio market will reach over 50 million units shipped by 2025.

SAR has resources available covering these topics. Please see our updated soundbars study and our Home AV Device Forecast DATAbase.
