Consumer User Surveys
For this particular project, we conducted a consumer user survey. This was an analysis of the use of speaker mode in smartphones and consumer trends.
The vendor commissioned the study in order to run in conjunction with the release of their new smart power amplifier. Alongside the unique set of results, SAR provided a detailed analysis of the survey. The data gathered was also used in citations and infographics.
We were engaged by a multinational semiconductor and telecommunications equipment company to prepare a custom study to evaluate the size of the market for proprietary audio codec compression algorithms and other major competitor technologies.
This was a large, custom project that involved months of work investigating competitors, building market models and producing a market study that was distributed to a wide audience.
For the production of this whitepaper, we worked with a wireless power technology vendor to inform and define its sales process with potential clients. Furthermore, it was used to assist with marketing to the wider industry and press.
This project involved a review of existing technologies, mapping of the current ecosystem (including vendors and industry bodies), and identification and sizing on potential end markets (including smart home devices) for their target technology.
